Good place for a quick stopover. Beds were comfy.

Bathroom cleanliness needs to be improved. Maintenance also required in the bathroom - shower head was not working. Breakfast could be better.

The property by itself is quite charming as it inside the jungle.

the cleaning. The bathroom was not clean, the sheets were not changed, we have found hair on the pillows and the toilet paper had animal poop on it. Also the breakfast was very poor, just some bananas and a piece of cake but due to the many flies we were afraid to try it.

Everything was nice! Walkable to Sigiriya. Owner has a tuk-tuk!

This homestay is located really close to the entrance for Sigiriya Rock, only around a 20 minute walk. The host took us early in the morning to Pidurangala Rock for a reasonable price in his tuktuk. It’s great that there is A/C here as it is certainly needed. The bed was really comfy & the surroundings are beautiful in the jungle. The hosts wife also dropped us off at the main road free of charge to catch our onward bus. For the price it is a good stay :)

The bathroom could be much cleaner, the floor was dirty & there were 3 resident frogs living in there (although to be expected in a jungle environment). Breakfast on our first morning wasn’t substantial enough, but our 3rd day breakfast was great. The wi-fi cut out on the last night which was frustrating but the hosts were very apologetic. It is a little far from the main strip in Sigiriya (30 min walk).

Too much attention from Owner. Not so clean and smelling bedsheets, room itself.

The location was great, close to Sigiriya Rock. The hosts were really nice and forthcoming. The hostess is an amazing chef and offered to show us how to prepare traditional Sri Lankan food. The place was clean and had really good WiFi (compared to most hostels we have so far encountered). At the end of our stay they offered free transport back to the bus station. Definitely worth the visit, we can only recommend:)
