Sumudu Homestay

It is an excellent clean room. Good smell. White fresh sheets . Great owners. They helped me with a safary excursion and showed the place where to eat. They offer very tasty breakfast. The best place during my trip among 12 places.

Maybe a bit far from the bus stop. But it's possible to walk during 20 minutes or take tuktuk.

Very nice room, beautiful garden, nice place to stay. Sumudu is owner, very friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Reccomended👍

Great place, great location, great food. The family was very nice. The room is very comfortable and it's very close from the entrance of the site.

Generous and lovely family. Excellent room in the midle of the jungle with a perfect terrace. We could taste a delicious Sri Lanka's typical food.

The room is clean, everything seems new. The room has a private entrance with patio. Big portion for breakfast. The owner is very caring and hospitable. I advise you to immediately take his phone number and call him if you cannot catch a tuk-tuk to return home after a walk, it is dangerous to walk in Sigiriya after dark, and it can be very difficult to catch a tuk-tuk there

There is little frogs in bathroom, but I heard that it is common problem in Sigiria, they went away on a second day.

There is a good quite environment and peaceful place.sumudu and his family also very kind and helpful persons.all the facilities are available( food,transport and room facilities ) and very close distence to the sigiriya.highly recommended❤️❤️ thanks mr sumudu and your family for help to us.👍🙏

location, you can ask the owner full board meal, you can request food that you prefer, the owner has a tuktuk, he can drop and pick you up as well, he gives good advise for places to go around Sigiriya and for your next destination. don’t expect a hotel experience but the owner will give it.
