Sigiri Saman Home Stay

I enjoyed the nice garden. The room was big and very clean. The family is very friendly and gave me a warm welcome. I enjoyed the lovely breakfast. And they helped me book tuktuk, tours and cars.

Logement situé proche du centre et accessible à pied mais à la tombée de la nuit prévoir de rentrer en tuktuk car petit chemin dans la jungle. Super accueil, hôte se rendant disponible, qui prends le temps d’aider à l’organisation des activités (un grand merci pour le safari). La chambre était plus que correct avec tout le nécessaire mis à disposition (la clime est un vrai atout) Le petit déjeuner servi était délicieux, nous avons passé un très bon moment !

Fantastic room

Sigiri Saman Home Stay deserves 10 stars, but since there are only 5, that’s what I’m giving. The Home Stay is extremely clean – the cleanest place we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of lovely places to sit outside, including swings and hammocks. Everywhere you look are gorgeous flowers and plants. The breakfasts are very delicious and more than enough to fill you up – my favorite part is the fresh fruits. You can see many beautiful birds around the property, and there are monkeys living nearby that are very cute to watch. Saman and his family are so nice and helpful. They will assist with anything you need, and they’re very knowledgeable about the area. They can answer questions about the history of Sigiriya Lion Rock and also help you arrange any activities you’re interested in. The location is excellent – just a few minutes’ walk to town, restaurants, ATMs, and of course Sigiriya Lion Rock itself. If you want to stay here, make sure you book in advance as it sells out quickly – it’s truly a special place, thanks to the wonderful hosts.

Everything was great

It's a wonderful place. We had one night stay there for 2 people. The place is spacious and gives homely vibe. Food is awesome. Can't talk enough about Praneeth and his family who made this special the entire time. We would definitely recommend this place to someone who is looking a stay in Sigiriya, close enough to the attractions.
