The Jumbo Homestay

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay here, it truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms are really new and modern since they've only been open since 2022 and the rooms are really spacious, it has everything you need, a spacious bathroom where the shower and toilet were seperate which we always prefer, it has a closet and a small working table. there's also a private balcony which is always nice to have. the bed is big and comfy and has two nightstands with lights and a charging point. The rooms have yellow lighting which makes it very cozy unlike a lot of other places that have harsh white light. The rooms get cleaned every day and the owners are very kind and welcoming. Breakfast is Amazing. the food is really good and freshly made and it's really extensive. It's a small place but it has everything you need, free water, free coffee and tea and you can rent a scooter with them which is also cheaper than at other places. It's like 15-20 minutes away (walking distance) from the centre of Kuta but we rented a scooter so we could go anywhere. There's so many food and restaurant options as soon as you walk out the door. We would 100% recommend this stay and we will be back if we go to Kuta again.

Good hot shower, sweet employees, good motorbike for rent, and awesome location and also the breakfast was good. Cleaned the room every day.

The pillows are really high, gave us pain in our neck and disturbed our sleep. They should put different ones in the back so you can choose yourself which pillow you prefer. They also did not give new towels after each cleaning.

I stayed here for 5 nights and I loved it. I stayed in quite a bit during the first day of my stay as it was midway through my Lombok trip and I wanted a day to rest. I felt so comfortable and safe in the room. The room is huge (even the driver who drove me to this homestay was awed by the room). There was a lot of space for me to put my things around and the bedside table was one of the biggest I've seen, which was really useful cos I kept dumping my things on the bedside table or in the drawers. It's a little further away from the main cafes but those are not too far to walk. There are a couple of spa options nearby too and it's not too far from the main road so it's convenient and yet quiet. What I also loved was the staff there, everyone was pleasant, gentle and kind. Each morning when I left and each evening when I returned, I would be greeted by one of the staff who would check in on me. I was sorry to leave the place cos it felt so comfy and cosy. Unfortunately, I'm not a breakfast person so I didn't try any of the breakfasts and reading some of the other reviews, I am regretting not trying it at least once!

Clean and really spacious room. Very easy to hire a scooter from the homestay, which was in perfect condition. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was plentiful! Nice to have a water refill station, wished everywhere had this!

Everything about this place is great. Comfy bed, hot shower with good pressure, tasty breakfast and lovely hosts!

The only I would change are the pillows as they are way too high, which makes it difficult to sleep.

Stayed in this property 3 times over the course of 3 weeks and I will come back again. The best homestay in Kuta!
