The Jumbo Homestay

I really wanted to love this spot, especially because the owners were warm, kind, and welcoming. That said, my experience didn’t match the expectations I had going in. When I arrived, I was surprised to find that the building was under construction which created a bit of a disorienting environment. The room had a strong earthy smell, which I suspect may have been due to mold. I did bring it up with the owners, and to their credit, they tried to help. But even after that, I was waking up feeling tired, puffy, and just not well. There also wasn’t much air flow in the building, and cigarette smoke in the main foyer made it hard to feel relaxed or refreshed. In the end, I decided to leave my stay five days early and find an alternative place that felt more comfortable for my body and mind. I understand this is a budget-friendly option, and the heart behind the place is lovely, but it wasn’t the right fit for me.

The room was spacious and very clean. They cleaned the room everyday which was nice. Breakfast was great and big with few different options. Best vfm we had in indonesia

The room and also the bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included & a free water refill station was there. The hosts were friendly and also put our scooter inside the property for the night for safety.

I enjoyed how friendly the staff were and how clean the room was. The room had everything I needed for my stay in Kuta,Lombok.

The rooms are so so huge for the price paid. There was everything available , mini fridge, tv , cloth hanging stand outside the room, cupboard, room slippers , toiletries, fitted hair dryer, AC , water to refill , hot water , rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff were so nice and the breakfast was really good even though they didn’t have all the options on the menu. Little far from the main beach area but it’s quieter here. One can easily opt this place for longer stays. No fresh juice but it’s ok for the price you pay.

Mosquitoes outside the room and in bathroom. Not their fault, its common in whole of lombok! So better keep the doors closed all the time. Needs constant maintenance , else the place will lose the charm like cleaning the cobwebs and dusting of the room furnitures. Outside parking area is a bit dusty because of the road. And 50mtr road is quite bad as it’s under maintenance.

And they agreed. We didnt really say what exactly we want. We were ok with nasi goreng or some sandwich. They didn’t have to but they did pack some really nice breakfast and it was hot! We had it later and were really impressed by the packing and all the stuff inside (we asked for something simple as I have some health issues if I don’t eat on time) thank you so much for that wonderful breakfast pack!!

There is limited food option around, no massage centre and nothing to see at night.
