Val Paradou - ex - Casa Magnolia

La gentillesse de notre hôte, ses conseils, l'ambiance du logement proposé, le bon petit déjeuner, la vue depuis la terrasse sur le port et la baie de Valparaiso.

C'est une ancienne demeure magnifiquement restaurée et aménagée. Les châssis n"ont cependant pas les standards que l'on rencontre en Europe en terme d'isolation acoustique ou thermique. Il y a des chauffages électriques mais nous sommes tous responsables de notre belle planète et devons réduire notre dépendance énergétique. Je conseille donc aux voyageurs plus sensibles un bon pyjama pour l'hiver au Chili et éventuellement des boules Quiès si vous êtes sensible au bruit la nuit (pour la chambre côté rue où, d''une terrasse voisine, des fêtards peu soucieux d'autrui ont tenu notre fils éveillé jusque 1h du matin...).

One of the most lovely places we've stayed. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful and it has that feeling of a guesthouse or B&B with character and individuality. The room was clean, comfortable and had extra blankets and a heater. The breakfast was great, one of the best spreads we've had and it was also great to be able to have use of some of the kitchen too. The location is quiet but close to the main areas to visit. The view from the terrace is wonderful too.

Slightly inconvenient having to pay in cash. Not a massive issue, but something for people to be aware of.

Everything was great

We travel a lot and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The view from the rooftop terrace was amazing, the photos don’t do it justice. The breakfast was delicious, we stayed 3 nights and had something slightly different every day
