The staff was very welcoming and friendly

The breakfast was poor. The bathroom was not in a good shape

The stay at Petra Fort Hotel was simply wonderful. The owner Khaled is a kind-hearted person who cares about the well-being of his guests.  A hotel owner with passion! We felt comfortable from the first moment. Also the interior with carpets and tapestries was beautiful. It was the best accommodation during our stay in Jordan. We actually wished we had planned more days in Petra.

Very nice staff. Khaled and his family/staff are very helpful and extremely nice people. The room was big and comfortable and ver clean. The breakfast and dinner was good too. The facility isn’t very big which makes it a very unique and cozy experience. It‘s just 10-15 min drive away from Petra, which for us was a perfect location since it was much more relaxing and not crowded with tourists.

The rooftop was under maintenance. unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the views or evenings on the rooftop but we went upstairs to have a look and I think once it is done it will be very cozy and enjoyable.

Not the case

From initial check-in to check-out the service and hospitality was phenomenal. I have traveled the world and I’ve yet to see better service from a small family run hotel. Khaled helped us plan our visit to Petra which enhanced our visit 1000%. He helped us avoid the crowds and arranged for camel rides without the hassles. He even helped us plan our visit to Wadi Rum. Everything he planned worked great. His family and staff were very friendly and served an outstanding breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend this property to start your adventures in Jordan.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms with a nice view. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were so nice. Khaled, the owner, is so hospitable and accomodating, and will give you the best advice on how to visit Petra.

It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and the view especially at dusk was fantastic. The rooms are probably newly renovated and it had modern furniture. Very clean. What we liked most was the staff. My friend injured herself during the hike in Petra and we would not have managed to happily proceed to the next destination without the support and kindness of all the staff members. The manager went out of his way and helped us until late at night taking us to the hospital and getting the medicines etc. The hotel is lovely as it is but the people there make it the greatest! Highly recommended especially for those who want to rest in a cozy place as experience the local hospitality and tranquility.
