"The perfect little home in a great location. Was so nice and tidy and John was a lovely host!"

It was lovely being welcomed into John’s home! The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The house felt very homey and had a lovely garden to relax in. John was an exceptional host and was always up for a chit chat. John was also great at giving recommendations for what’s going on in Devonport! Would definitely recommend and hopefully will be back.

Everything was great, nothing I didn’t like about my stay.

"All-round great time"

Very charming house & room with an extremely hospitable owner. John was very friendly - he let me borrow his bike for a day, and also dropped me off at the bus interchange when my stay was done. The shared kitchen & bathroom were always clean, and my room was very warmly decorated (and spacious for a solo traveller)! Very close to Mersey Bluff Lighthouse and not much longer to other attractions. All in all, a lovely place and will definitely book again next time I come to Devonport!

Wonderful, homely feel with the most superb owner, John. John went absolutely out of his way to pick us up from the bus stop, make our stay as comfortable as possible, and provide an abundance of advice/knowledge about the area. The home itself was delightful, well equipt with everything you could want, and a short walking distance to the town centre and shops. It was lovely to be located right near the beach, port, and Mersey Bluff Lighthouse. The kitchen facilities were phenomenal, there was absolutely everything we could have asked for to cook, prepare and store meals - which lots of shared ingredients. The others staying in the house were wonderful and everyone was very welcoming and respectful.

Honestly, there was nothing more we could have asked for.

"Great homestay in Devonport"

John is wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and he makes you feel right at home. The house is a short walk to Mersey Point and about a 30 minute walk into Devonport. The house is well equipped, and clean. You have a lock on your bedroom too.

The shared bathroom, but this is advertised and wasn't a problem at all.
