hotel next to walking street, if reach hotel after 5pm must go another way.

"Memorable visit in many ways."

Very picturesque area. The ride from Thong Pha Phum to Pilok Village had some of the best scenery in Thailand I've seen. Wonderful, attentive and helpful staff. Nice location with a beautiful scenic view (though the fog was often very thick). Nice, tasty breakfast. Intimate little restaurant on the premises making it difficult to NOT talk with other visitors which was enjoyable. Nice local residents.

Many restaurants and shops were closed. We were here for only 2 days and it rained heavily for much of the time, hence we did not visit everything we wanted to.
