Thank you for a most beautiful stay in your amazing accommodation. Omg the place is so beautiful. The room was spacious clean tidy and comfortable. We paid a little more than normally what we do and it was well worth it. Location amazing just outside the city centre. Just one street away from an easy bus journey. Words can't really say how nice the accommodation was you have to experience it and just gave us such a warm feeling. From the crazy plants drapping over the banister and the small but beautiful balcony, underfloor heating perefct mattress and just lovely chairs tables desk. Thank you so much a truely perfect accommodation

Can't say a bad word, just what I wanted for a perefct stay for me and my wife. Had a really crap year just needed something wonderful and you gave it us.

Great place to stay - beautiful big house with lots of character. We stayed in room 2 which had a superb 4 poster bed. The shared bathroom was close to the room and was massive - big shower and huge bath. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others!

Great value for money (to give a 'didn't like' would be petty and disrespectful)

Magnifique chambre dans un manoir partagé avec d'autres chambres. Plusieurs salles de bain disponibles et la propriétaire est très gentille et de bons conseils pour les visites. La chambre était très spacieuse et très confortable. Bon rapport qualité-prix pour la ville d'Édimbourg.

Beautiful building lots of potential

We paid £160 for one night, going on the cost vs. expectations and value for money, we would not come back! On entering the property, it is very dark and uninviting, reminding us of the house in the Conjuring, ashame really as it has so much potential. Lacks ambience! Their was a very strong, overwhelming smell of spicy cooking that filled the entire house. It was absolutely vile!! The property needs a good clean, there is stains all down the walls as you go upstairs. Their decore is shabby and unkempt. The standard was low! The hallway stairs and rooms had no carpets, which made everything sound so much louder, The facilities are none existent in the room, no heating, no fridge, no tv, no radio, no books, toilet! There was a large shower and sink, but the main bathroom was shared. There were personal belongings in the wardrobe and draws. It just made us feel uncomfortable. The clothes had a musty smell to them, and there were worn flip flops in the wardrobe. I wouldn't have put my belongings in with them. I needed to iron, and this meant going to a shared laundry room downstairs. Absolutely horrendous, there was washing everywhere..danging from the ceiling, clothes horses full of washing and people's underwear. As you tried iron, you literally were assmongst someone's wet washing. It just wasn't nice.it is a beautiful house but not set up appropriately for guests and is extremely overpriced. You can not see any investment for guests. It's someone's home who clearly doesn't spend a lot of time there, so he doesn't feel like a home either. I'll be booking a Brittania next time!

Good location for parking. Easy bus into town. Lovely house and huge room.

No toilet in the ensuite so had to use shared. But no big issue apart from in the night.
