Fantastic location, close to the centre and on the Via Francigena. Our host Marilena was kind and generous, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast she provided was substantial and delicious.

The room was a little small

My mom and I stopped in for 1 night while walking the Via Francigena and had the most wonderful stay. Definitely a unique set up that may not be for everyone. But it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, and one of the best sleeps we had in weeks. The host was so lovely, and her home is truly something special. She even woke up extra early to accommodate our early departure to make us a breakfast of homemade crepes, cakes, yogurt, fruit, coffee, and toast. Truly a memorable stay!

Marilena’s BnB overflows with a love of art and travel. She is a welcoming hostess. The BnB is spotless and centrally located in the historic centre. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great! Perfect for an overnight while walking the Via Francigena. Recommend 👍

Very good homemade breakfast, very tradicional style. We enjoyed it very much.

During our one night stay during the night there the electricity went off so we couldn't charge our cellphone.

Private bedroom and private bathroom were very accurately described. Host was extremely lovely and friendly.

Extremely disappointing errors in language translation on booking.com. The host does not just live in the building, the host lives in the apartment, this is her personal home. While the bedroom and bathroom were very private, the kitchen and washing machine were the hosts personal facilities and not available to us. We did negotiate to put two drink bottles in the fridge overnight, but in the end we did not, as we felt too uncomfortable using any of the hosts personal facilities. Also very noisy neighbours, until 1:00am, was disappointing. We specifically booked this accommodation so we could have 1 home cooked meal, and wash all our clothes, mid holiday. Very disappointing.

We liked it all: the location, the house, the room, the shower, the breakfast and, especially, our wonderful host, who took every effort to make us feel very comfortable and welcome. We'll definitely come back there again and recommend this accommodation to anyone without hesitation.

This accommodation is like stepping back in time, it is a beautiful traditional Italian home where you are immersed in culture and art. The host was very thoughtful, helpful and welcoming.
