A/C in the room. Quiet at night. Close to the school where I was volunteering .

After reading all the other reviews, I feel like I was in a completely different house. I stayed here for a month. The owners barely spoke to me and never invited me even for tea or a chat. The neighbors I passed by every day were much nicer. There is NO food (like in pictures) , no breakfast, and no help in trying to find food or restaurants (I discovered some 10 minutes away). I informed them twice before my arrival. I was greeted with an extremely hot room (I almost fainted), a faucet in the bathroom that wasn't working (it had 3 tiny sprays in all directions, one aimed at me while trying to wash hands), a toilet seat that flew off the toilet when I tried to lift the lid, a dirty mirror full of spit, dirty surfaces everywhere . They cleaned the bathroom after my complaint and it took me about 1 hour to clean everything else. This is my only experience with dirty room in 6 stays here in Cambodia. And you get only one towel. The floor was clean, and the sheets were changed. The sheets are synthetic, and they didn't have any cotton ones. In the tropical heat,it felt like sleeping in a furnace (plus the foam mattress producing even more heat). There was no fridge and no drinking water. So, I asked them to bring them to me and I would pay. You can't spend a month without a fridge! The small fridge arrived, dirty and moldy, so I cleaned that,too. They also brought me a big jug of water. In a couple of days they did fix the toilet and the faucet. After that ,my stay was uneventful. The windows are very close to another house and right above the hot metal roof. During the day you couldn't touch them, they were super hot. So, I put aluminum foil halfway up for privacy and to deflect the heat a little. Often, it felt like living in a box, unable to open the windows. There are some tiny, fluffy, flat insects slowly (very slowly) crawling down the walls (from behind the ceiling), but they were not bothersome.

Great people great room very nice and respectful

The place is in a very authentic neighborhood. When you step out of the house you can see the children from the kindergarten playing, geese walking around and beautiful trees. Amazing local atmosphere. The room is comfortable and super clean. We work online and the Wi-Fi was great.

The gate of the property is locked during night which is great, but we didn't know that and almost missed the sunrise at Angkor Wat becouse our bike was inside and we couldn't go out.

Everything is great! First of all the family that runs the accomodation is AWESOME! They are so friendly and super helpful. The location is not perfect and in the center ,but it's really not important just take a cheap tuk tuk because the room is spacious, clean, the neighbourhood is super quiet. You'll definitely find everything you need there.
