Helly's Secret Garden Cottage

Thank you, I had a lovely stay! This place was walkable to cafes, restaurants and the beach. The air conditioning was great.

Only the thing I will say is there was a gecko in my room and it was loud 😅

Chambre confortable, grande et avec une petite terrasse très agréable. Nous étions à cet hôtel pour Nyepi et le staff nous a laissé de quoi manger, c’est très prévenant.

Swhr schöne Unterkunft und freundliche hilfsbereite Inhaber. Alles hat geklappt, vom Rollerverleih bis hin zum Gepäck aufbewahren.

Agus Helly was an amazing host and the place was absolutely beautiful, great location. Would definitely come again!

We had a wonderful stay at Helly's Secred Garden. The owner / host was very friendly and helpful, if you need any information just ask him and he will be more than happy to help you out. He even helped us to book our boat tickets to Gili trawagan. Can't be happier than that.

It’s a very lovely Jolo type villa, spacious room, it’s quiet and very clean. Helly and the staff are exceptional and extremely caring. I have stayed here with my husband and on my own. It’s safe and the staff go out of there way to help. It’s a lovely home away from home.

Nothing it’s lovely

Un peu mitigé. Le jardin est très joli, les cabanes sont mignonnes, l'espace extérieur est le point fort. La chambre est jolie mais si on regarde dans le détail, tout s'abîme vite et n'est pas forcément bien entretenu. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Nous avons eu un problème avec la douche et cela a été vite résolu. L'hôtel est bien situé par rapport à la côte.

La salle de bain. Tour s'abîme vite. La pression de l'eau. Une grande serviette par personne et c'est tout, pas de serviette pour le visage. L'odeur du linge de bain était bizarre.

The host and her family are so lovely and helped with every request. When we arrived, we had lots of washing to do and she was able to facilitate this and was ready the next day. The home stay is down a dark alleyway, however lots of friendly locals around and they are starting to build the alleyway up of other hotels so I think in the next year it won’t be the same dark alley that it is right now but never felt unsafe. The grounds of the hotel and how it has been designed is beautiful tropical architecture that you expect.

Although there was a house cleaning service every day new towels were not provided. If I had requested, I’m sure they would have been changed however we’re not changed without asking. But in the grand scheme of things this is probably more of a saving the environment factor rather than a personal preference which I do understand.

Cosy little cottages set in beautiful gardens. Helly and the ladies that work there were very helpful and organised taxi’s etc when required and offered advice if requested. Laundry service available for a reasonable fee. Air con worked well and the fridge came in very handy to keep our water cold. Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to restaurants and the beach. Enjoyed being in the local community to watch the gents playing volleyball on our way back from the beach most days. Perfect stay and lovely people.
