Fani's Family House

It truly feels like a home. If you stay for longer I bet you'll forget you live anywhere else. It is a bit of a walk into the centre of Ierapetra but it is a perfectly wonderful stroll along the sea front. The breakfast is perfect.

Everything was perfect. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was great. The location is also good. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to both the bus station and the old town.

Dimitri is the Ultimate host ! I was warmly welcomed and assisted with all my needs re travel, shopping, outings etc by the host. Having my laundry done was an unexpected bonus service..........very unusual. My LARGE bedroom was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The ac is very cold too, good when it's 40 degrees outside. The house has the ambiance of a Real family home, Guests have a private lounge and dining area with balconies too. It's a short walk to the sea and about a mile to the bars and cafe strip along a pleasant seaside promenade. Lerapetra is a two and half hour bus ride from the port, but the trip is along he steep coast and very picturesque, so no problem really. This "stay" is HIGHLY recommended !

Lovely owners, nice breakfast (small but definitely local products!), sandwich to take to the beach, privacy. Air-conditioning in the room!!
