CAI really had a positive experience at Tan’s Homestay. The beds in the dorm room are really comfortable and the curtains make it feel really private. I had dinner at the hostel every night and it was such a great way to chat to the other people staying there. Not to mention the dinner was always delicious and was different each night. Breakfast was also great. Tan helped me booked tours and busses, and was always available to help. I think the location is perfect, it’s very quiet and peaceful but also really close to the Main Street and many other beautiful cafes next to the rice fields. I would recommend Tan’s Homestay to everyone!
ILGBEverything! The vibe, the staff, THE FOOD, the facilities! It was all perfect!!!! They even gave us scooter rides to where our bus was departing on our final day! Just the best family and place ever! Lovely energy!

IETan couldn’t do enough to help, lending me her jacket when it was cold, booking buses and tours, helping with whatever little details. All her family were so kind and helpful, breakfast was delicious (2 options of omelette or pancakes served with coffee). Water and tea was available throughout the day, the bed was so comfy and it felt like a private space within the dorm as each bed was surrounded by a curtain. Loved every thing about the place and the area. Friendly and easy to meet other solo travellers. The evening dinner was lovely as well, free bicycles all worked really well 😊

USSuch a lovely, homey, easygoing place. It's within easy walking or biking distance from the town, villages, and rice paddies. Tan was an excellent host, very kind and accommodating, and not pushy about tours or anything like that. Breakfast was terrific--a choice of honey pancakes or eggs with bread, to make a little banh mi. My room was very spacious and comfortable, too, with a nice hot shower, cozy bed, and room heater that gave off a nice fire-like glow.

DEI really loved staying at this family homestay! Tan helped me, organised the next bus and has good recommendations for Mai Chau but also for travelling in northern Vietnam. I loved the family vibes and the chilly area outside. The food was fantastic and you can have lunch and dinner if wanted. It was clean and cozy in dorm. Would love to come back again!
