Weeroona Huts Homestay Pacifico

Really nice family vibe, nice hangout areas, quiet and very close to surf break and eats. Barry and Marvie were warm and welcoming, helped us a lot with extra little things that arose. A little gem if you are happy with simple accomodation. 👍

We are deeply grateful for the exceptional hospitality that exceeded our expectations. I was pleasantly surprised of Weroona Family took us on an island tour, showing us various tourist spots and Family feast food . I was treated not as a tourist, but as part of the family. This trip reminded me of the importance of staying united as a family, regardless of circumstances. Travel not only brings joy but also reveals that there a lot of good people in the world, quite different from those we encounter in our daily lives. The best part of our trip that we meet a family that treated as a family. I've traveled to many places around the world, including the Philippines, but this place stands out as the best. It truly felt like home, thanks to the genuine Filipino family hospitality I experienced.

Good location, Close to surfing spots, restaurants close for the evening, Shared kitchen and friendly owners who let us checkout late (1 hour) after our surfing lessons.

Shared bathroom/toilet but was stated in the room descriptions. Can get hot in the room.

Marvie and Barry could not have been more personable or helpful. From showing me surf breaks, to taking us to a swimming hole, to giving advice on local restaurants and everything Siargao, they went above and beyond. Also, I really enjoyed the food in Pacifico. For such a small town, there were several restaurants to chose from and I ate very well.

I got one of the two smaller rooms that is cooled with a fan rather than a/c. I am too soft, too modernized, too spoiled to live without a/c in the tropics. But that was on me, as the larger accommodations there all have a/c.

- Lovely hosts - Great location - walking distance to Pacifico and a short drive on the scooters to other sites (including Lokal Lab’s Tropical Academy if you wanted to do a farm tour or volunteer - Easy to hire bikes on site - Nice outdoor communal areas - New shared bathroom - Close to beach - Good wifi - The site is quiet, very peaceful and just a really nice place to hang out

- Our hut got a little warm but there is a fan and windows/doors with fly nets so you can have them open and there are other rooms with AC available
