I liked the hot shower and the chat with the staff. My bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The kitchen could have been cleaner.

BED BUGS ALARM! Casa escuela actually was rated on google under the name School of languages IDEA La Gomera (see link here) https://maps.app.goo.gl/xozDij3mG63dJnwP7 Many of the long term inhabitants don't see an alternative to this accomodation..the matrasses are wrapped in plastic. The whole place needs an exterminator and taken from the market urgently! I found two shells of bed bugs next to my neighboring bed. I had all my clothing in my backbag leaning against the wall, so I hope I didn't catch any. I also didn't have any bites- but the person underneath my room had a rash of them already and stings on his arms and neck. Aa soon as I read the google review (under the actual name of IDEA school of languages) , I spoke to some of thr long term inhabitants. Many of the matrasses of the lower floor are simply brought outside, I guess this is a desperate attempt to get rid of the problem. If you read the reviews on google, you realise that this problem exists for over a year already. There are even photoa of matrasses that need to be 'taken away' by the 'waste collection', another idicator that the owner Natalie is struggling with this for longer but doesn't want to get the building completely cleaned up. A danger for the whole hospitality business on La Gomera! And no, I didn't go swimming, and no, I don't have bedbugs from home..

Vorweg: für mich wäre grundsätzlich alles ok gewesen, wenn der Preis die Hälfte gewesen wäre. So ist es schlicht zu teuer für das, was man bekommt.. Es ist recht schwer zu finden und zudem ist nicht mal ein Schild draußen. Google Maps hatte mich woanders hingelotst. Ausstattung generell recht überschaubar. Gemeinschaftsbad war echt nicht schön, mit Haaren überall etc. Im Zimmer war es soweit sauber, jedoch wurde ein extrem scharf riechendes Putzmittel verwendet, ich musste die ganze Nacht das Fenster offen haben um schlafen zu können. Hellhörig etc. Jedoch waren die anderen Gäste da recht rücksichtsvoll.

L'emplacement est vraiment top avec une superbe vue à la fois sur la montagne et la mer. Le quartier de la Calera est très sympa.

La chambre était prête pour 2 personnes. Il manquait des draps et une serviette de toilette. La propreté n'était pas au rendez-vous !

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooie locatie en gebouw met een ziel. Wij hadden een erg lichtrijke kamer met groot venster op zee en groot venster op bergen. S nachts enkel ruisen van de zee. Badkamer/toilet sober maar proper.

Voor ons helemaal niks. Maar verwacht geen grote luxe, zoals duidelijk vermeld zijn er 2 te delen badkamers en gemeenschappelijke keuken ( die we niet gebruikten)
