Mid Pine Home Stay

I had an amazing stay at Mid Pine Homestay. The staff were incredibly polite, caring, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everyone was friendly. I’ll definitely be recommending this homestay to others and look forward to visiting again... 🥳😄

The view from the dining area is absolutely stunning. Availability of parking area. Cleanliness. Prompt response from staff.

Staff is really good.

There is no AC in the room and at Shillong these days during day time it's too hot wdout ac it was very uncomfortable and hot. Price wise there should be an AC in the room. Second thing, breakfast is really bad. They only serve tea or Maggie kind of things. U won't have options in breakfast. Most PPL do not prefer Maggie in breakfast. As breakfast included means there should be 3/4 options in the breakfast.

It’s a very cute cosy guesthouse. the staff are very lovely, helpful and kind. The location was great and I extended my stay because I was so comfortable at Mid Pine. I’ll definitely come back again. I didn’t know some of the rooms require you to climb some steep stairs to reach and I was travelling with my parents. Luckily there were rooms available on the ground floor we could switch to. Id recommend checking which annexe you’re booking in if travelling with elderly or folks who have hard time climbing stairs.

The room I booked showed balcony in description, instead I got a very damp closed room. The flooring was peeling off and was stuck with big tapes together. The constant smell of seepage/moulds The curtain rod just fell whenever I try to open and close curtain. The property is located at steep hill with lot of moving traffic which leaves no room to even walk on the side roads. Breakfast options were very limited. One day we were served only aloo parantha (with no salt whatsoever). They had the option of omelette but I dont eat eggs.
