Room all okay

The property owner falsely claimed that we took the air conditioner remote control, even though one of the remotes was already not working. At check-out, he said it was missing. However, we clearly remember leaving it on the bed. When we offered to return and check, he then changed his statement and said that new customers had already checked in, which was not true.

The unit itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, and the location was convenient. The property itself is decent for a short stay.

Communication with the owner was very frustrating. I paid the RM100 deposit immediately when the owner requested it before check-in just to receive the instructions for collecting the keys. However, upon arrival I still had to wait about an hour for a WhatsApp reply. I followed all the house rules and even cleaned the place before checking out on 24 March, but as of 4 April my deposit has still not been returned. I have already messaged the owner several times but there has been no response, which is very disappointing and unprofessional.
