It was a beautiful location. close to periyar national park. The host is a lovely person. Absolutely loved the interaction with her. She helped us book elephant safari as well. 100% recommend the place

Neat and clean room. Walking distance from Periyar Tiger Reserve bus and boat ticket booking counter (pick up point).

Nice place...Stay was superb...Nice experience.... Customer care was superb....Homely atmosphere... Property is near to Kumali town, so it was very easy to catch all activities like boating, Jeep Safari etc

Hosipitality

The owners at Ammu's are friendly and accommodating. Also very helpful. Location is excellent too at walking distance from the Periyar booking office and is at the centre of Thekkady.

Location: Beautiful location surrounded by Trees & song of birds and reasonably close to the main road. Property: Well-maintained, neat looking room and having adequate space for family of 2 or 2+1 (stayed in a SR) Amenities: Neat & Clean white bedding and comfortable. Side sofa. Bathroom: Reasonably spacious, neat & clean bathroom. Good Hot water. Host: Perfect Host. Understanding, easily approachable, easily contactable and very helpful. Bonus: Provided morning Coffee and delicious local breakfast on request, at a nominal price. Had the pleasure of having breakfast at Host's residence that is on Ground Floor and can have a short chat with the Host's mother too!

Three minor blips: Parking: Bit tight, especially if bigger vehicles like Innova, Harrier need to be parked. Pillows: Very big and bit uncomfortable. Some may develop shoulder pain. Towel: No Towel provided.
