Our stay was exceptional. The host is very kind and so helpful. Our first night was accidently overbooked but the host took care of it and let us stay with a friend of his. Then in the morning, the host picked us up and drove us to this home where we got a free upgrade to a private room (we booked the mixed dorm). He was so helpful with giving us recommendations and place is in a quiet neighborhood near public transport. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Düsseldorf

I have nothing bad at say, it was a wonderful stay!

This was the first time I experienced this in Booking.com. Once I arrived the address in my reservation, there was nobody. Nobody picked the phone (tried to call 4 times). Nobody replied the messages (still nothing after 1 day).. Me and family were counting on this room after night arrival to the country and of course lost the booking money plus all expenses to quickly react. I'm not sure if this is a scam (I booked due to good reviews).
