Lovely room , having coffee in the garden by the koi pond, fantastic location, quiet, very nice hosts.

Fantastic location, in one of the most beautiful streets of Coyocan (or all of Mexico City, I'm told); beautiful, spacious and comfortable rooms, very nice hosts, and they even let me choose the room I liked most even though I had booked a specific room, and procedures for changing rooms are not simple on this site! And even though the booking officially didn't have breakfast on it, I got a really nice juice every morning, and sometimes coffee, too - in the property's lovely garden.

You don't get a key for the street gate (only for your room), so always have to ring the bell for the hosts to let you back into the compound. So there's a certain lack of independence. The hosts were always there and there was never a problem; as I went out almost every day for the entire day, it worked fine for me, and the personal touch and effort by the hosts more than compensated for that (hence a "10"!). But it is quite unusual and not everybody's cup of tea, so it might be good to flag this feature even more prominently during the booking procedure and in the terms.

There was no breakfast, but the host did bring up juice and cream every day.

Communication about the bill was not open I felt. Host was very nice and attentive but rather stiff and rigid. The exchange rate she used was not current and to her benefit, we did reach an agreement, but need to watch the bill closely. Otherwise, accomodations were very comfortable. This is the host's personal home that she has lived in for over 40 years, so very well maintained and clean. Lovely stay on the whole.

It was so beautiful and clean. We were supposed to land at 7pm and we got delayed, we landed at 3am and she waiting up for us and was quick to reply to every message I sent. In the morning she was waiting for us with fresh squeezed juice and was generous enough to let us leave our bags for a few hours why we went to walk around after check out. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Our hosts were so warm and lovely, and they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary while we were there!

Lots of hot water in the shower, rare for Mexico, but temperature was hard to control.
