The price is cheap compared to other places so you can stay for a night or two but not more!

A/C is a problem since you can use it 4-5 hours per day (I don't remember this was mentioned before). The fan on the ceiling does not work well either. I felt the owber lady is quite controlling me during my stay because she warned me a couple of times with an edgy tone through the app about the a/c and other stuff (she was nice when face to face though). The house is overall old and rusty so don't expect it so clean.

Fine bfor 1 night stay before going to Cozumel. We ended up with a larger room than we booked which was nice to be able to spread out. They were able to accommodate our late check in and it was great to be able to check out at 12.

The shared bathroom was cramped and the shower pressure was bad. It was annoying to be limited with the air con but not too much of an issue as we weren't there for long

The kitchen, the host' sympathy, the existence of air conditioning, the house location, the space in the room.

Not allowing tha AC for the full night is really strange. It should at least turn off by itself. It's fine not to have it during the day. Not being able to store bags when a key is available with a padlock is also very strange. Not helping finding snorkeling spots for lack of knowledge is also strange.

Nothing, as we unlucky couldn't stay here and got scammed.

On the check in day we were supposed to check in between 3 pm and 4 pm. Unlucky noone opened to door, although it seemed to be that people were in the house. We tried to call the owners of the guesthouse several times, noone answered. Also to our message we didn't get any answer. After waiting from 3 pm to 5 pm in front of the house and no answer to our calls or messages, we decided to search for another accomodation. Out of a sudden at 6:30 pm we got instructions to get the key out of a keybox and to enter the house by our own. Sounds like a big scam for me, after explaining the guesthouse the situation and how long we have waited, we didn't got any answer and we are still waiting to get our money back. Maybe they were overbooked, maybe they just wanted our money. We don't know. If you want to have a stress free holiday without getting scammed, just don't book this apartment.
