GrandPa's Room

Really nice little place, only a short walk to the old town. The owner was really nice and friendly.

What we liked most was the fact that we could be in the house of family who has lived there for a long time and is originally from there. We had the opportunity to spend some time with them and was realy nice. The GrandPa is very cute and kind. The room has everything you need, very comfortable and outside you can use a kitchen. Also, there is a private bathroom. Her house is a 10-minute walk from the center and there is free parking in front of her house. We love it and highly recommend it!

Welcoming people. Beautiful, quaint room. Kettle with tea and coffee provided. Nothing seemed like too much trouble for the hosts. Great location. Friendly dog. Use of outdoor kitchen. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Sighisoara.

There was no WiFi at all, which is why I rated it 9 rather than 10.

I arrived around 9:15pm but Stephanie told me that her family would help open the door, and she even showed me how to get to the Heart of Jesus Statue, which I could say is the highlight of my whole journey in Romania!!!! The walking distance from the house to the train station is around 25mins, so if you’re not good at walking it’s better to find a taxi.
