Cham Island Homestay Lau Thu

Lovely breakfast ! Super sweet people, took us snorkeling and made amazing dinner.

The family were so welcoming and helpful. They did not speak English and we do not speak Vietnamese but via google translate and hand signals they managed to help us all the time.

You need transport and can either use the family to get a lift on their motorbikes or pay a small fee to rent their motorbike.

The host family were so friendly and accommodating. They really made our stay great.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned from the previous guest.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were very welcoming and tried their best to make our stay as memorable as possible. We really enjoyed it and the kids loved all the monkeys that came to the house. The food the house owner made was delicious and they made according to our wishes which the kids loved. If you wish to experience how to live in a Vietnamese home, this was a great experience.

To think that the place is on an island with many nice sand beaches and you would expect that sand would come in any time. There was no place where we could rinse off the sand before coming inside the house which made all the sand come all the way inside to the bedroom and bathroom. The madrases in the beds was very thin and hard so they were bad for our backs. There was AC in the room but it did not work properly so the room was still quite hot.

It was a few steps away from the beach. The owners are very lovely and so helpful. They even gave us a ride back to the pier. And we had a home cooked meal which was absolutely delicious

Nothing it was perfect

I had a wonderful stay at the homestay. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the beach. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the cultural exchange with the host and other guests. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a memorable and authentic experience. Very nice simple accomodation in an authentic village. Friedly and helpful owners. Wonderful food. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.

This cute home stay is a gem. The family running it is so accommodating and caring. They organised bikes to rent, cooked beautiful homemade food fish freshly caught by the man. Great value for money. So beautiful to sit on the roof top for dinner overlooking the ocean. The owners English is very limited but we got by. Great aircon.

The beds are rather hard which is ok when you are young but as a 40+ I felt it.
