Wonderful location and peaceful place, near the new main bus station. The owners welcomed us with a good tea and spent lot of time to give us advice and trying to answer to every our request. Large and tasty breakfast. They rent bikes and can arrange some tour if you want (we went to Wilpattu). The room was clean and we appreciated a lot the balcony to chill out in the evening. Even if someone had some "bad" experiences here (we read), we are sure that it's not a dangerous area. When you go to bed, simply close windows and doors, as usual!

Everything goes perfect. We already miss it!

Unfortunately I cannot say anything good about my stay since I was robbed during my sleep in this guest house. The robber climbed up to the first floor by the trees apparently and got to my room while I was sleeping. The house is not secure at all but the WORST part is that it has already happened but the owner never mentioned it to me and didn’t take any action to prevent it from happening again. The robber stole camera equipment worth 2500 dollars, so the police got involved. The police also blamed the owner that he didn’t protect his guests. I try to believe that the owner was sorry about this but he didn’t even suggest to give me my money back for the room. I know it sounds ridiculous compared to the value of things stolen but still it shows that he only cared about the future of his guest house and not about my moral and material damage. I want all tourists to know that this place is not secure to stay. The worst experience ever…

Friendly and helpful family that prepared very good food for us. Located in quiet neighbourhood in an otherwise very busy town.

De airco in the room did not work which resulted in a security issue.

Warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Location to ancient city is not far with tuktuk

Airco didn’t work properly. Poop from animals inside common area. Not safe: another family their money was stolen. Someone climbed up the balcony

No toilet paper or top sheet and other things such as slippers, toiletries. Had to ask for a towel. Aircon handset did not work properly and it was a very hot room. This accommodation could be lovely. The girls are very sweet.

The host was very kind the breakfast was vario and rich.

The room was very hot, very small and quite dirty. There was no privacy because the only window of the room faced on the main entrance of host's house. There wasn't a place where to sit in the room other than the bed.
