"Great location in Nuwara"

The host Janaka gave us some good travel ideas locally and fortunately could speak Hindi. He also helped arrange a tuktuk for reasonable price who was a good chap. The balcony had a beautiful view of the hills. Location was good. Nearly 10 mins by bus from Nuwara Eliya bus stand, but one needs to keep Google maps on and tell bus driver where to stop. Also nearly 1 km from Nanu Oya, which is also good to travel via trains.

The bathing area in the bathroom did not have a partition as a result of which some water from the bathroom flowed in the room. No other issues as such. Good value for money place.

Cool Mount Guest is a very nice low budget accommodation. The owners were nice and hosted us well, even though we experienced better hosts during our 3 weeks stay in Sri Lanka. I guess it was due to missing English skills, but still I think they can improve. The room was okay for the price, it was clean and we had everything we needed. The water was hot. Breakfast was very very good, I can highly recommend it.
