Already by the entrance i got a warm welcome! I got some cold water and the room was chill. Breakfast was always presented with a smile! Such a warm place to stay!

Wish there was more pressure in the shower

Short walk from the front beach area. Really nice staff / owner. Bed was comfortable.

Facilities were not the best overall. Did the job, and I only stayed the one night. No workers took initiative to inform me of breakfast situation, ending up not getting any in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay at Agung‘s Homestay! Everything was perfect, also the breakfast soo delicious 😍😊 What a wonderful place and great location to stay at Gili T. You can also rent a bike or just walk to the beach only 3-5 minutes. The room was also verry clean and towels and bed smells nice. Thank you Agung & Family!

The location and the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. They rent bikes there and get you best prices for any tour

Room was a bit dirty. Bathroom has no hot water and the overall toilet is the shower.

We had the most lovely Homestay owner one can imagine. They helped us with everything and we were always looking forward to return to the accomodation after the day. They also really care a lot about the beautiful garden and the rooms and try to make it better and better.

The wifi wasn’t working that well but we recognised that this is the case everywhere on the island.

Agung was so lovely and welcomed us into the home stay like family. Really helpful with local tips too. Beds super comfy. Air conditioning great. There are mosques on the island that do early morning call to prayer but you couldn’t hear them too much from this accommodation.

The WiFi wasn’t great but I think that’s an island thing not an accommodation thing. The breakfast wasn’t great (banana pancakes, omelette or scrambled egg, just not to our tasting) but there are so many places nearby with great breakfast options (favourite was the banyan tree)

Really nice location, walkable to pier. Very quiet, comfortable stay.

My tap didn’t work. The door doesn’t shut properly so mosquito’s came in. The toilet was facing the wrong way so you couldn’t sit on it properly as your legs literally won’t fit because the wall is too close, you have to sit on it sideways. Seems like a minor thing but actually really annoying, and I’m 5’5 with short legs. This might have just been my room though. My light also didn’t work well and would keep switching off and I’d have to find someone to fix it.

I really enjoyed my week-long stay at the family-run homestay. Mr. Anung, and his family, were incredibly friendly, and I felt right at home with his warm hospitality. The best part was that it was affordable, and the location was really close from everything. Staying with a local family gave me a genuine experience of the culture and lifestyle, which I loved. I improved my Indonesian a bit.

Despite all the positives, there was one thing that really "bugged" me. It was hard for me to breathe inside the room, I had a sore throat, I got dizzy, and I suspect they might have used masses of bug spray. I read in other reviews they do. This worried me, because despite the good intentions, I felt so bad, I couldnt sleep at times. I also wish they had been more transparent about this issue during check-in. This is why I checked out 1 paid day earlier. And sure enough the air was better in my next room. Also within the week I only got a fresh towel on request. Which, honestly, is fine I don't need a clean room every other day. But it would've been nice if they asked. WIFI is super slow, but good enough for whatsapp and email. Don't try to video call, but you're on vacation anyway, so who cares.
