The property is clean and comfortable

I booked for two nights and paid the full amount upon arrival on Friday. On Saturday morning, we went out and spent the day away from the property, leaving our belongings behind since our checkout date was Sunday. When we returned to the room on Saturday night, we were surprised to find that it smelled like cigarettes, our toiletries were missing, and our bags had been opened, suggesting that someone had searched through them. Shortly after, the lady from the property arrived, knocking on our door and returning our toiletries. She mentioned that she thought we had checked out, but what's concerning is that she didn't even bother to call us to confirm, despite having been paid for two nights' stay.
