The Gingerbread House

Отличный дом, прекрасная хозяйка, все было очень качественно и хорошо. Наш ребенок постоянно играл с двумя прекрасными котами. Хозяйка позволила воспользоваться зарядкой для автомобиля.

Было немного некомфортно из-за того что хозяйка тоже живет в этом доме с вами, но Это некритично! Хозяйка очень приятная женщина!!!

Charming little place within walking distance of Lillehammer town centre. Very peaceful.

Not in a great area..track under a road to get to facilities.

Everything.. Charming home. Amazing host, I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Location was very convenient with just a short walk to the centre of Lillehammer yet in a quiet residential setting. Host was friendly and responsive but not intrusive. Full use of kitchen & dinning area plus private bathroom with good powerful shower plus access to washing machine & tumble drier. Beds are very comfortable. Cats are friendly and good for cat-lovers.

These are not so much dislikes but balanced comments & observations: The bedroom is literally one room but on two levels (beware if you have a snorer in the family!) The stairs to the upper level are quite steep & narrow. Not a problem for us but beware for small children or elderly people. The was no effective curtain upstairs, which caused a minor problem during very light nights. We improvised.

A warm welcome from our host and a lovely home. Very much enjoyed relaxing in the sun on the deck.

It was a lovely cosy house on a real part of Lillehammers residential area. It’s nice to be amongst the local people and not in a hotel with other tourists. We were a few minutes walk to the town or the lake. Perfect

I was not actually able to experience the house because I could not get to Lillehammer due to the many roads closed during the floods caused by the heavy rains (Storm Hans), but I had a bad experience when interacting with the owner. When I asked for a cancellation with refund due to weather conditions, they first used Booking as an excuse to deny my request and after they simply ignored my messages, showing a total lack of empathy with our struggles with the rain on our road trip. So, if you have problems while in Norway, don't expect help from the people at The Gingerbread House.
