Elephant and Four wise men resort

The location and surroundings of this resort is Just perfect and you can feel a lot of Love put into this place. Waking up to Birds singing in Simple yet cosy cottages, couldn't ask for more. Not to mention the mouth watering freshly prepared food they make and the best coffee I had in India. Don't know if they Have Wifi, but to be honest in a place like that you don't even need it.

If you are planning to book this hotel by looking at the images, I would strongly recommend you to check out some other places. The images are all illusion.No basic amenities were provided like a mirror in the room, a small table or chair. Moreover you will not even get a blanket unless asked. And especially the behaviour of the staff was very very very RUDE and ARROGANT. Do not expect a good service from this hotel. The hotel staff will only give service to the foreigners. If you are an Indian then forget about getting any sort of service.. no cleanliness, nothing. All you will get is a bad experience We asked the hotel staff to clean the room and we gave us the broom and asked us to clean the room by ourself.. such a pathetic thing I have ever experience.. If you book a hotel you book it for leisure and for a good service. But, here all you get is a rude and arrogant host who will treat you like a servant.. In one word PATHETIC. Or rather DISGUSTING. Such a disgusting person I have ever met. NEVER EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE SOMETHING REALLY BAD😔😔😭😭

The elephant and 4 wise men is a fairy tales paradise. That's why I'm here one more time at the end of my India journey. The whole environment creates a vibe with so good energy just what you need when you are travelling. The food is simply amazing. The best coffee at Neil Island. The best fish. The best ice cream. And it goes on. They even have home made pasta that any Italian would approve as real delicious pasta. The huts are simple but very cozy and charming. The inbuilt beds are perfect and you can really rest and go in to a deep sleep in those. The service is just amazing, and the creator of this place, the wonderful Shivankar, is always there for you. If not cooking, helping you with something or giving some good advices for your stay at Neil. This place I can recommend with all my heart. And I'm coming for sure next time ❤️🌈❤️

Very simple, Sibankar is a very nice host and an excellent cook, with very interesting stories !! Very pleasant place. The most beautiful place in the Andaman, I recommend it to everyone !! => best Pasta !! Try it !! don't think twice, book !! Thank you Sibankar !! we come back !!

Best place for all who wants to escape from the civilization and live close the nature. Best food on the island (grilled fish, shrimps, dhal, pancakes - heaven❣️) 50 m to an amazing, colorful and full of fishes coral reef and beach. Nice, clean and simple bamboo huts with hammock.

my stay at elephant and four wise men really made my Andaman trip amazing. I’m a backpacking foreigner who is used to the simple times of years ago…way before the new expensive resorts popped up. E&4WM was so perfect: peaceful and simple accommodations hosted by a chill guy Shivankar who is tapped in to creating a great vibe….not to mention an amazing cook! I ate every meal from his kitchen. every dish and every coffee made with care and from ingredients grown at his farm. an interesting and nice collection of travelers fill the place for nice conversations. beach front adjacent to this place was dynamically different based on the tides. a wonderful solitude watching the sunset and listening to the various bird species settling in for the night. bring your own drinking vessel to fill with filtered water on site. high maintenance travelers search elsewhere;)

Good location from tourist spots

Disinterested host and reliance on just one person to run the whole operations. Not even basic hospitality. Not preferably location for sole wanderers. Beach is only namesake nothing to be beautiful about.
