Memories of Malnad

Location of the home stay is simply awesome, peaceful and full with nature. The staying cost was quite affordable. Food was OK. Lunch/Dinner menu was very limited. Kids had nice time staying and enjoying in the location. Did not feel like going out of the home stay .. wish to come back soon.🎉🎊

Food is okay

The facility was very nice among the coffee plantation. The owner Akash and caretaker Viswa were very nice and took care of all needs promptly. Location, mountain view, ambience, Food , campfire and responsiveness was exceptional . The 30 min plantation tour by the owner is the highlight. Right place for relaxing with family.

Location, rooms, clean rooms

Service as guy was not available full time, and currently except room house is a mess. The caretaker doesn't speak any language except local

The place located between the think coffee plantations. It took sometime to reach this place but once we reached it was superb stay. We felt like staying in jungle at times(**with all facilities and safety **). Owners were very welcoming and friendly. They arranged the food even at short notice as we stayed with infant there. They have arranged the fire camp at nights and we get to see the clear stars from the main entrance during nights. We don’t normally get this kind of facilities when we want to stay real close to the nature. Memories of malnad is the perfect place to stay at chikmagalur if you really want to stay close to nature.

If your travel is not for leisure and you just need some place to rest at night , then this won’t suit you as the commute to this place is bit far from main chikmaglur city. After a full day tired trip to all the site seeing places , we felt bit tired reaching this place at night. Otherwise it’s the best stay.
