Pension Stausee

Although we arrived at midnight, our host did give us a room. The location was what we needed. Once we warmed up to each other, the host could be a good conversationalist. The facility has super easy parking. The water ran smoothly, including hot water.

The host was very unpleasant, although Booking did not inform us about an arrival deadline. Moreover, we tried to contact the facility while en route w/o luck. The facilities appear to be from the 90s; the towels have seen better days, and the room is equipped with the most basic furniture. The room was relatively small, but I'm wondering if it is comparable to others in the area. In general, I'm used to bigger rooms, even at this price range.

The landlady is super friendly and nice. German, Slivenian, English spoken.

The place is near the Drauradweg path so it was a really good option for us. The host lady was super kindly. The breakfast was a really good one we liked it and was enough for us.

Nice rooms, excellent breakfast and very helpful hostess. When we forgot a hat, the hostess arranged for it to be shipped to our home country.

We had a wonderful visit and were suppose to stay 2 nights for the bike met in faaker see. But we decided to stay an extra night to drive into italy for a quick visit. This pension is were friendly and she goes over hills to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend to stay here if you want to "come home to mom". Will go back again.

We spent one night at Pension Stausee. We had a pleasant stay, the room had a charming view and spacious bathroom. Our host was a very kind and helpful lady, who prepared an amazing breakfast.
