Thanal Homestay

Lovely stay. Owners were prompt and accommodating in addressing any requests and queries. Appreciated being able to check in a bit earlier. Homestay provided scrumptious authentic home-cooked meals every day, which I enjoyed. Portions were very generous, sometimes a feast. Rooms included AC, which is wonderful. Great value for money.

Internet cut out every few minutes which made work challenging.

The hosts are really nice people, the house is nice, very confortable, I really enjoyed the first floor balcony and the food is delicious. Very calm neighbourhood, internet quality was very good and the host offer boat tours! Highly recommend!

Next to a church. Very loud specially when you have a festival around

Very friendly and hopeful host family. Very good local food (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Nice nature to enjoy in the near surroundings (boating in the backwaters). Close to Fort Cochi.

The room was very comfortable and clean, but what made the stay memorable were the hosts. They are so kind, so accommodating and very helpful, and always smiling and willing to help. Joseph took us on a lovely boat ride at dawn, followed by a discovery of Kochi. Later that day they both took me shopping for a beautiful saree and helped to get the blouse sown for me. Also they were brilliant with organising cars for us to go to another town and the homecooked food was just delicious.
