"A bit disappointing"

While the room was comfortable and clean, all reviews praised the family’s hospitality but, after early afternoon check-in, everyone disappeared and not a single person ever came to check on the guests. Dinner was not offered, lights in common areas were off so, like a couple in another room commented, it felt like we broke into somebody’s house. There was no hot water in my room so the couple let me use theirs and the internet did not work at all. At (truly amazing) breakfast, the daughter was super sweet but no explanation was given about the previous night.

"Perfect for a night stay"

Perfect for a night stay to climb Adams peak. The meals were delicious. They serve breakfast after we were back from Adams peak which was very convenient. Its about a 10min walk from the start of the path.

"Amazing food, location and hospitality, highly recommend."

Everyone who worked at Daffodils Inn were incredible. The food was some of the best that we have had in Sri Lanka and the hospitality was amazing. The location is also really good to walk Sri Pada/Adams Peak as you can walk to the trail from the Inn.

"Gorgeous guesthouse with exceptional food"

Gorgeous little guesthouse with such welcoming and helpful hosts. The dinner was exceptional! The best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. Perfect location to climb Adam’s Peak. The guesthouse was super clean and modern, massive beds. 100% recommend!

"Good stay for a one night"

Great breakfast served after the hike! The room is away from the main street so very quiet at night.

The staff was not very available, we had to go look for them in their private rooms to ask for questions. There was also some miscommunication between the owner and the staff.
