Peaceful Home Stay

The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac right in the middle of the eastern group of temples. The room matches the description on the website, with clean sheets and towel. The bathroom would benefit from a simple makeover, but at least hot water and toilet worked. The host Girjesh was very responsive and courteous.

- There were issues with the water supply, which the host explained were caused by another guest leaving the water running while falling asleep. This led to periods without water, but Girjesh responded quickly to resolve the problem once notified. - When settling the bill, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional amount for the commission the host owed to Booking.com. However, after some discussion, we agreed I would only pay the amount specified in my reservation confirmation. The host was not correct to impose this additional charge. This is the first time I have ever experienced the issue on booking.com. It is therefore important to confirm this detail in advance for all bookings here. - I also requested a pick-up from the station, mistakenly assuming it was complimentary. I was surprised when the cost was added to the final bill, but the matter was resolved amicably. To avoid any misunderstandings, it is best to clarify such details upfront.

This was an exceptional stay, an attentive family and pleasant accomadation at a good value. Near to the Eastern temples and around 15 minute walk to the western temples. I was unwell at the time of staying and I was treated very kindly by the family, with nice homecooked food, a trip to the drs and they even upgraded my room for free. The owner will offer chances to go on trips with him. As I was unwell I couldn't but if you do just let him know.

Location is good just village side but nearby eastern tample group and breakfast is home made,tasty.

It is awesome home stay. Nature of the owner family is very good and cooperative. Food is very good and tasty. I recommend to stay here with family or solo who are planning to visit Khajuraho.
