Pokoje Żabi Staw

Pobyt oceniamy na bardzo udany. Pokój bardzo dobrze wyposażony, czysty. Właścicielka przemiła. Do dyspozycji kuchnia letnia. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, spacerkiem do promenady koło 10 minut. Z całego serca polecamy.

We were passing through and only staying for one night. The bed was comfortable, the room spotlessly clean, and the host was very kind. We hope to come back for a little longer sometime!

The host was very friendly. Even though she did not speak English at all (which was kind of a surprise for me, but only because we did not read the property description properly, as it was stated there that they only speak Polish), we could somehow communicate and get all the help we needed. When the stove in the kitchen outside did not work, and I needed to cook soup for my kids for dinner, she invited me into her own apartment and let me use her stove. When I asked for coffee, she brought me into her apartment and let me use her coffee machine. She was very fun and talkative, and absolutely lovely. The property also had some nice activities outside, such as a small playground for kids, a trampoline, a grill, etc., We did not use any of those, as we only came there for an overnight stay, but those were nice nonetheless. The room was spacious enough and it seemed to be clean.

The dishes and the cutlery provided in the room, as well as in the common areas did not really seem very clean. We washed them before using it. The light in our room was flickering like in some horror movie. Our kids were scared and we couldn't really keep it on for long anyway. We asked for a replacement, but, apparently, it wasn't as simple, as the entire lamp had to be replaced, and not just the bulb. At least we got an extra desk lamp and could live with that. We asked for two double beds, but got one double bed and two twin beds. I guess they did not have a room with two double beds available. As mentioned, the stove in the common kitchen did not work. And there was no coffee or tea in the room, even though there was a kettle. We would have appreciated a note that we need to bring coffee/tea ourselves. Normally, some of it is provided in hotels/apartments when a kettle is in the room, so we expected that here, too.

Fantastic hospitality from the owners who looked after us so well throughout our short stay. It was like having a home from home. The room was very close to the town and lakeside but in a quiet location. We were able to cycle down in a few minutes. Although we didn't do any cooking, there were facilities available. Parking for our car and our bikes was easy.
