Anjali Home Stay

Simple and very decent accommodation conveniently located in relatively peaceful Upper Tapovan. Anjali speaks good English. She is also very kind and readily available for any support. The Internet worked non-stop, which is not to be taken for granted in Rishikesh. Great bang for the buck.

The road outside can be rather dirty, which is not unheard of in India. The decoration of the room is not the prettiest I've seen. All in all a no-thrills very functional place (maybe not ideal for honeymooners).

It is very comfortable place rather far from road, that’s why it is not noisy. Owners are very friendly and careful with their guests. Food and beverages were very good. Thanks a lot!

I recently stayed at Anjali Homestay for the second time. One of the main reasons I chose to return is the consistently high level of cleanliness, especially in the washroom – a crucial factor for any traveler. Another notable aspect is its affordability. Considering the quality of the stay, I found it quite reasonably priced. The property's location is also a strong point, making it easy to reach various points of interest. The hosts are friendly and respectful, adding to the positive experience. Throughout my stay, I enjoyed a hassle-free environment without any unnecessary disturbances. All in all, my stay at Anjali Homestay was satisfying. The emphasis on cleanliness, good value, a convenient location, and welcoming hosts makes it a good choice for any traveler who values a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

Although the overall experience was good, as I have already indicated, it would have been appreciated if they had supplied essential toiletries. Furthermore, a power backup arrangement would have been appreciated. This is particularly relevant as I had my laptop with me for work purposes, but unfortunately, there was a period of power outage. To be fair, I suspect this could have been a result of the intense rainfall and severe weather conditions in Rishikesh during my stay.

Stayed here for couple of days and it was really nice! Room is clean and bed is big. Place is really quiet and little bit outside of the main road but not so far away. Staff was really nice and helpful :)
