The guesthouse location is super convenient for Malioboro Street and the train station, and the family running it is really nice. The owner gave good suggestions on things to do in Jogja and on onward travels - he also offers trips but not in a pushy manner. Originally there was only a blanket in the room to be used as a cover (also mentioned by others) but upon our request it was quickly exchanged for a sheet instead.

The room is very small and not getting any view through the window (in our case the room was overlooking a wall of the neighbouring building) makes it feel claustrophobic. Also, the bathroom needs a proper scrub.

Location

Dirty room, lumpy bed, ants all over. The owners just wanted me to book tours with them and hounded me. Very unpleasant stay.

The owner is very friendly and helpful! Goes the extra mile to give the guests a good stay. Water is provided, tips are given for excursions, and Motorbikes can be rented. Thank you

A great stay in this hostel, run by a friendly family. Ari helped me to organise the visits and also rented me the motorbike. A simple but very pleasant place, within walking distance of both the train station and Malioboro Avenue, where life is bustling.
