Second Home Bungalows

The people working there are so great and kind. The bungalows are so cosy and confortable to stay 3/4 days it’s perfect ! Even the bathroom on the outside is really clean and practical. They proposed exactly the activities made for this place. It’s a big family. The kindest people ever !! We a saw a bamboo handcraft village, we tried to make our own bamboo little box. We made our own coconut oil and we were directly in a family home to see this process, it was very immersive and you go back with your little coconut oil. We also made a walking tour thanks to the best guides! (Figo and Marcel) We walk around rice field, jungle, we saw black and grey monkey, traditional village and we also do 2 stops in waterfall where you can swim, it’s beautiful ! It was a dream really. During all the tour this guide explain you everything about the spices, the vegetation, the tradition of work and family. Beautiful memories ! Even more they provide transport service everywhere very cheap ans with the best driver (Badur), he stop the car to buy us fried banana we don’t ask but sooo delicious and he made also a stop for us to see the monkey on the road, he explain everything about them.

Posizione bellissima immersa nella natura di Tetebatu. Il bungalow molto carino e accogliente. Buona posizione per visitare monkey forest, cascate e risaie.

Renholdet var ikke bra. Vi fikk beskjed om at vi måtte si fra når vi trengte å skifte håndklær og annen vask på rommet. Vi ba om nye håndklær 2-3 ganger, og det fikk vi. Men da vi ba om å få gulvet vasket (man drar med seg sand inn på rommet). Selv om vi etter beste evne første å vaske oss på beina og tørke før vi gikk inn er det uunngåelig å dra med seg skitt inn. Særlig med barn. Da vi sa i fra om at gulvet trengte en vask ble det kun feid, gulvet var fortsatt møkkete. I perioden vi var der var det veldig stille med få gjester. En periode var det kun oss på hele overnattingsstedet. Det var skuffende at de ikke tok seg tid til en ordentlig rengjøring og å ta seg av de gjestene som faktisk var der. En annen ting var at vi opplevde at den som hadde hovedansvaret for overnattingsstedet var mer opptatt av å selge tjenester enn å ta seg av oss. Vi forstår at han ønsker å tjene penger, det er helt naturlig at han vil forsøke å selge turer etc, men under frokosten, i stedet for å ta bestillingen vår og ha fokus på å ivareta oss, var han mer opptatt av salg, noe som resulterte at vi fikk helt feil bestilling på frokosten (han var ikke fokusert, rett og slett). I tillegg opplevde vi å få en smørpakke (de serverer smør og syltetøy i små porsjonspakker til frokost) som allerede var blitt åpnet og har halvtom. Når vi flere ganger ga beskjed om at vannkranen på badet henger (den var helt løs og hang over vasken) sa de at det skulle fikses i morgen. Det ble det ikke. Vi ga beskjed på nytt, fortsatt tok de seg ikke bryet med å finne en løsning for hvordan i hvert fall finne en midlertidig løsning på problemet.

Good mood, nice people (local and backpackers) and amazing place. I did the sarong and the bamboo process it was very interesting and the second day the rice fields, the waterfalls and the monkey forest. It was beautiful, we swimmed in the waterfall, had lunch with locals in a small house because it was raining. We also tried a lot of local food, so gooood. Thank you

The views and location of the hotel was amazing. Hospitality of the team was amazing, they made our stay a wonderful experience. Everything was done with a smile and treat you as friends. We would like to give a special attention to the service of the transfer driver, Badung who made the trip a whole tour.

The room is very simple, with not the best beds.
