"Very good"

The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable with many pillow options to choose from. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We only spent the one night there but it was an enjoyable one.

The bathroom door didn't close and the door to the room was a bit tricky to lock (as explained by the owner).

"A house worthy of an architectural digest cover!"

The Manor is a uniquely designed (and gravity-defying!) structure built high up on the side of a ridge. A portion of the hillside rock is actually incorporated inside the main house bathroom....a stunning architectural detail. The outdoor terrace to our room provides an exceptional view of the suburban Joburg location. We reserved a non-dining package for our 4-night stay, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Our hosts were very friendly and eager to share their knowledge of the area and simply chat with us about our day.

The place is very beautiful, tranquil, clean and modern just loved every aspect of it. Lana was very friendly and accommodating she even upgraded our room as it was our anniversary. Wish I booked more days, will definitely be visiting again.

"Manor on the Hill an absolute MUST"

Firstly, driving into the main gate, you are surrounded by an exceptional garden leading you towards the house. The owners are extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The accommodation is out of this world, exceeding our expectations. What I appreciated most was the bible next to our bed. You don't see that anymore! Thank you for the delicious chocolates on our pillows, they were delicious.

That we only had one night.

Lana's attention is exceptional. We went to our wedding, and she went out of her way to make it a special and memorable time that we will always cherish. We will definitely come back and recommend it to family and friends!
