MIXED FEELINGS = 6/10. Clean. Cute balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely shower. Friendly host who met us outside, helped w parking and check-in. However, listing is INACCURATE! Listing shows queen room 2 beds 2 bathrooms. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to find only 1 bed in the room. The host then told me none of the rooms have 2 beds. It gets better. There is in fact a locked adjoining room with another bed (only a bed, no bath but access to the same balcony so clearly part of the same suite.) According to the host my genius price on booking was too low...so if I wanted to open the room with the other bed it was going to cost an extra 250 shekels CASH. Nearly double my price charged to my card in advance. CRAZY!!! The host agreed to fix this listing but as of today it is still not fixed. If you are a couple, you will be fine. Travelling with a room mate or an elderly parent or kids and need the extra bed? Expect to show up and pay Double! And if you got a good price or a genius price on booking, think again because the host might make you pay extra cash on the side because your price was too low. Honestly it feels like a Tel Aviv scam. Language barrier a significant problem. All communication w host had to be Hebrew English on Google translate

We are a family of 6 (3 children, an elderly lady, and a couple). This was a wonderful place to stay in our first trip to Israel. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the neighbourhood was absolutely wonderful (well planned, quiet streets with beautiful flowers, and shops within walking distance -1/2km) The hosts communicated so brilliantly with us through what’s app, email and Google translate. they were so kind and helpful. We spent 3 nights here - on the first day we explored Rishon LeTsiyon and learnt about its fascinating history, ate awesome falafel and drank great coffee- we walked but there are tons of buses if it’s too hot. It really is a great city. The children adored the swimming pool (I had fun in it too- but it’s more child size)- and that brings me to another highlight- the garden is beautiful- we loved the plants and birds. The view from the kitchen balcony was also beautiful. On our 2nd day we took the bus (super easy - took about 30 minutes) to Jaffa. WOW! We drank Arabic coffee, ate Kanefeh (sp? a cake made with cheese and cooked on a grill… the highlight of my whole trip so far!! Delicious!), listened to the call to prayer, explored old Jaffa (think Jonah and the whale) - the port being 4000 years old. We then walked along the beach and swam in the sea for a few hours at Tel Aviv. we then got the bus home from there. A fantastic couple of days :)

The only negative I can think of is that there is a main road at the back of the house which is noisy especially during rush hour. A normal feature of a bustling, vibrant city!
