we loved the view, the pool, the room was very comfortable.

there is no reception, one day we were looking for the staff no one were there. The kitchen was closed on Wednesday afternoon/night, and we’d like to order dinner, nobody told us that the kitchen was closed. Our check in was great Diego is an amazing staff but after that day no one were there to help us.

The stay was absolutely perfect. The place is divine, with great facilities and a breathtaking view. Walking distance from the convenience shops and restaurants. Breakfast is very local and delicious - bonus points for the 5pm coffee break with a snack, which is very welcome after a day on the beach or after the hikes. What really made our stay, though, was the staff -- we were taken care by the great Diego who made sure everything was right for us.

They were very nice but only 1 guy speak English.

Otherwise the pousada is very much overpriced for what you get. I got room 1 and it was very tiny, didn’t know where to open my luggage. Had also lunch there the day of my arrival and it was not great to say the least, barely eatable and again overpriced for what you get. Breakfast’ portions are small, tasteless and cold, we have to order in advance so we didn’t know the size. They do your room only if you ask otherwise they do not, and you have the leave the key which I didn’t know until I complained. The bathroom’s window is broken so the mosquitoes got in. Caipirinha are a hit or miss depending who prepare them.

The view is amazing. The pool is very nice. The AC in the room was strong and good. Good breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The room is small. The internet is terrible but tbh it is terrible all over the island
