Very friedly and helpful owner. Definitely a good place to come back to.

In comparison to other apartments and hotels we really felt like "at home" there for some time. We would not mind staying there much longer than originally planned and we very much want to come back again some day. Karin, the host, is super nice and welcoming and she took a great care of us during our stay. You can order freshly baked rolls to be delivered to your door in the morning. We got a very nice and cosy cot for our son. There is a blinder for every window, so everyone slept very well. The rooms are spacious, charming and are equipped with some traditional furniture. Our kids loved Karin's dog. Location in the middle of mountains, two balconies with a mountain view. Quiet. Perfect!

The sofa in the living room, when turned to a bed, can feel a bit hard but it worked well to sleep on it anyway.

Clean and tidy apartment, nice view to the mountains, friendly owners, cute dog. The balcony is not shared with other flats, so you can have your privacy on it. There is a fridge with freezer, so you can treat yourself with some icecream in the end of the day. :)

Would have been nice to have some basic houshold stuff, like oil, some spices, coffee, tea etc. There was only a very little sugar, some salt and washing up liquid+sponge, wastebags in the apartment. I know this is the usual thing, but I have already been in accommodations where I found a little more and that was a very good feeling.

We had an enjoyable stay in Matthiasgut. The apartment was nice and well-equipped and offered everything we needed. The location is excellent as the house is surrounded by meadows and forests while still a short drive to shops. Overall very relaxing place with amazing views, and thanks to our friendly host, we felt like at home.

A very nice and exceptionally clean house in a good location for visiting the vicinity. Quite close to the ski resorts. We (a family with grown-up kids) booked three rooms. Two of them were in the two-bedroom apartment with the huge living room with the kitchen (with everything you may need), one room was separate. Each room has its own bathroom! There is additional toilet in the apartment. The view from the living room window was very beautiful. The owner Karin is nice and very helpful. You may ask her to order fresh bread from the local bakery which is delivered every morning. Highly recommended. There is a good restaurant almost across the road and there are supermarkets not far from the place.

We stayed in Matthiasgut for a week while we’re skiing in Flachau/Zauchensee area. When we arrived, the lovely host Karin was already waiting for us. She gave us a short tour threw the spacious apartment and gave us some information about the area. The apartment had all facilities we needed, like a well equipped kitchen, enough room to relax en watch TV on the flatscreen, a very clean bathroom with enough hot water and a very comfortable bed for a good night sleep before our ski trip. Downstairs there’s space to store your skis and shoes to let them dry after skiing. Every morning we enjoyed fresh bread Karin brought us before we drove for about 15 minutes to Zauchensee. Karin is super friendly and we would definitely stay again with her! Thank you very much for a lovely week staying at Matthiasgut

The day we had to leave.. we would have loved to stay a little longer

We stayed in this apartment for 12 nights. The place is excellent. countryside apartment with a great view of the mountains. Cows and sheep welcome you. Close to a supermarket for shopping, many excellent restaurants in the area and many attractions around us. The hostess was great. She helped us with everything we needed. It was a shame to leave.
