The Renaissancehof is very beautiful and modern. It brings comfort, convenience and an excellent spot in the middle of Wachau. It is clean, spacious and luxurious. Really enjoyed our stay, and we had easy contact with our host Markus Wieser. Very friendly and has hospitality at the center of his thoughts and actions!

There is one big downside of the location (and perhaps entire Wachau) and that is the road. The amount of traffic is huge, and people are allowed to drive very fast. But the road also serves a purpose, right? Otherwise we could not travel to Wachau. But perhaps lower speeds could help already a lot!

Simply, one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It felt like home from home. Beautiful spacious apartment furnished with ample antique furniture, fully renovated with high-end fixtures and fitting including beautiful door handles. Bread, meat and cheese for breakfast on weekdays, and a complimentary breakfast at the weekends with fabulous and varied cheeses, seasonal fruit and local cakes. A very special place to stay.

The only thing we would have liked is a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for those who are getting a little older!

This beautifully renovated historical house is a gem in the picturesque Wachau area. Just an hour from Vienna, it offers easy access to many worthwhile sights. Rooms are spacious, beds very comfortabe, ensuring a relaxing stay. Hosts are very friendly and helpfull, breakfast includes delicious homemade jam and bread, fueling you up for exploring the surroundings. The air conditioning and pool are lifesavers on hot summer days, making this the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. Hope to come back soon.

An amazing place handled by a great couple, everything about it was SUPERB! The place is beautiful, the entire village is taken out of a fairy tale.
