Location is amazing: great views, walking distance to train station, 5km with a bike to Hallstatt. Apartment had everything you needed and the hosts were very kind and helpful. We were able to lend bikes from them. Soft beds.

It was a really pleasant stay. The owners of the house are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They gave us valuable advice on our trips, about the city and surroundings. There is a possibility to borrow bikes, that helped us reach further places. The apartment was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was also well equipped. The apartment offers breathtaking views from the windows. There is also a very nice garden to relax in. We enjoyed our stay in Haus 66 a lot. Thank you!

Host and wife were extremely kind and helpful.Even before arrival, they were very prompt in their replies to our questions thru booking.com. Accommodation is very near to train and local bus station which we appreciate a lot. Village is very safe and quiet( which we are thankful for the touristy break from Hallstat) Accommodation is the ground floor unit and owners stay upstairs. It was also extremely clean, neat and well presented. Washing machine is a bonus ( €2 a load is reasonable and convienent) - drying rack and ample clothes hanger. We arrived at noon- did the Dachstien giant ice cave and 5 fingers. The next day we headed early to Hallstat through the local bus at 750am ( bought a day ticket bus for €5) - ate breakfast and took all the touristy Instagram photos before the day crowd arrived, did the 930am Salt mine tour, left Hallstatt with local bus for lunch at Gasthaus Koppenrast - award winning restaurant, rested at Haus 66, then 330 pm took the Navia flatboat from Obertruan to Hallstatt to see the church and ossury and took the 620pm boat back to Obertraun. So we successfully avoided the 11am to 4pm Hallstatt madness. We had a wonderful 2 night stay and would recommend highly to anyone who want to enjoy Hallstat at a slower sustainable way.

Everything! It is a beautiful apartment, clean & well appointed & with magnificent views. Gerda & Johann are wonderful hosts & made us so welcome. The whole place is so peaceful & relaxing.

Responsive and helpful host. They allowed us to check in earlier and leave our bag after checking out. The house is well equipped with everything that you need (and they even provided fresh milk). 4-6min walk to bus stop/train station. 10min walk to boat ride.

Beautiful guest house that's easy to find from the train station. A short walk to the bakery/supermarket and a good distance away if you want to visit Hallstatt too. The bed was very comfortable and the place was so quiet
