Ferienhaus Wieswald

We stayed in the ground floor apartment as a family of 4. It was really spacious and had tons of character; the host (Simon) was really warm and helpful. We also got a great price for the 3 night stay.

Weak wi-fi and the hot water took some time to come through (as mentioned in other reviews) but the positives more than compensate for these small shortcomings!

Awesome Property, and Great Hosts! Simon and his Mother were very welcoming and warm. The apartment was quite well furnished, comfortable and clean. Large rooms, kitchen was also well equipped. Plenty of space and furnishings were made available - more than enough blankets, beds, towels etc. In the location - it was indeed very peaceful and a beautiful location. Zugspitze was visible from pretty much everywhere - Kitchen window and our Porch. Walk around the property was also very nice. Lot of greenery both within and outside the property was also very welcoming. The Zugspitzbahn Ehrwald was about 2KMs away, so extremely accesible. Dedicated parking which was very important for us as we were driving. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again.

Everything was superb. If there is one thing that could be improved - I felt that some consumables were provided in extremely limited quantity. For example: we booked for 4 nights, however we had only 2 dishwasher tablets, one garbage bag, one baking paper etc. (or may be we couldn't find more of them). Given odd hours, we didn't feel like disturbing the hosts, and I am very sure if we would have asked, Simon would have provided us with these items. Nevertheless, I still believe the stay was amazing, and pretty much one of the best stays I have had in quite some time.

Apartment is great and equipped with everything one needs during vacation stay. Located at the bottom of the Zugspitze. Views of the valley and the mountains are amazing. There is a bus stop 5 mins away and Ehrwald town 10 mins. 20 mins walk to the Tiroler Zugspitze cable car. One can this cable car from Austrian side to go to the Zugspitze.

Wifi was slow. There was no continuous warm water in the apartment. One has to tell owner everytime to turn on the heater. It takes 20-30 minutes until the warm water is available. This delays tour further planning.

Great place, great location, and the hosts were fabulous and helpful. Will definitely come back.

Very bad WiFi and limited volum of hot water for shower

We had a fantastic stay at this appartment. Rooms are spacious, kitchenette has everything if you wish to cook meals, views are amazing.
