Hagmann's Altstadt Appartement 2

Perfectly located at the start of the walking road in Krems. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, easy check-in and check-out. Walkable to grocery stores, restaurants and train station. We enjoyed hiking to the top of the hilltop for views of Krems as well as a nice walk along the Danube River.

No microwave. We had to buy a spatula.

Thomas, the landlord, was very nice and provided all the required including video clearly explaining where is the apartment. The location is perfect!!!! All is nearby, including parking.

Keep on mind that there is a lot of stairs to lift your luggage. We were three people and 4 heavy luggages. No elevator. The address on the building doesn't fit the one in booking, we could find it only based on the video received from Thomas.

Wenn man bei Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt anreist, fühlt man sich nicht wirklich wohl, wenn dann die Wohnung ungeheizt ist. Nur ein Heizkörper, dessen Regler kaputt ist, war lauwarm, da die Temperatur auf 15° eingestellt war. Dass die Garderobe so hoch angebracht ist, dass selbst relativ große Menschen nicht auf die Ablage reichen könne, gibt den nächsten Hinweis auf die Gastlichkeit. So gut die Wohnung gelegen ist, so groß die Räume auch sind, alles atmet Gleichgültigkeit. Der zu kleine Tisch, der total verkalkte Wasserkessel, Speisereste in Töpfen und auf Kochlöffel, verschimmelter Kafferest auf der Kaffemaschine. Fehlende Vorhänge und kaltes Deckenlicht im Wohnraum. Unbequeme Sitzbank. Nur eine Nachttischlampe beim Doppelbett, bei deren Licht man keinesfalls lesen kann. Gar keine Ablagefläche beim Bett im kleinen Zimmer. Schade!

La posizione dell'appartamento è fantastica, sulle mura del borgo, accanto alla torre e alla Steiner Tor. Non capita molto spesso di poter soggiornare in un luogo cosí ricco di storia! L'appartamento è grande e spazioso.

Se ci fossero stati alcuni ingredienti base (come sale, caffè o tè), avrei potuto sfruttare meglio la cucina a disposizione.
