"Lovely little chalet close to the ski slopes, Excellent hikes in summer."

8.0

The property is a typical Austrian chalet. Our apartment had two rooms, a kitchen/living room. It is decorated straight out of the 1970s, but I really liked that. Imagine one of those movies with a bunch of teenagers staying in a chalet in the mountains. I would say the place was "cool", I actually really liked it. The position was idyllic, nestled in the trees close enough to town to walk to the (one shop). The host made it easy to check in and check out with minimal hassle.

The hob hardly boiled water, and really needs to be replaced. The beds were rather hard for my tastes, and the pillows very soft. The big double bed squeaked quite a bit, which if you are parents with kids in the next room might result in some awkward questions - wrestling is usually a good answer. Plan your shopping well. The shop closes at 5 pm and is closed on Sunday (at least in summer)
