Transylvania Villa & Spa

The room was clean, beautiful and the view from balcony was great! The host was very nice and car parking was very convenient!

The villa is in a great location, very close to the hiking area of Gosauseen and to Hallstadt. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything you might need if you want to eat in - fridge, range and oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker. There's free parking on site, and the view from the balcony is gorgeous!

During our trip in August 2024, the weather was unseasonably warm for the Gosau area - instead of approximately 23 C, it was 32 C! This villa does not have air conditioning, which should be fine in typical low 20s temperatures, but was uncomfortable during our stay. We opened the windows to cool down, but lots of mosquitos entered the room, so we had to close them.. This is not an easy fix for the owners, and might not be an issue too often, although the climate changes might require this improvement to the villa. An additional improvement to our stay would have been to have better pillows - the current ones are completely flat and thin, offering no head support.
